I proudly present my "Artificial Intelligence Movie Posters" series, which I have been working on for a long time. This series, where cinema, artificial intelligence, graphic design, and media arts converge for the first time in Turkey, emerged after extensive efforts. Using two separate datasets consisting of classic film posters from the 1950s and classic horror film posters from the 1980s, I trained my artificial intelligence module. For the first time, I obtained moving movie posters created by artificial intelligence. I created a narrative storytelling on the posters, capable of narrating an entire movie from start to finish through the interaction of multiple prompts, not just a single prompt. I individually named and designed frames for all 10 posters I obtained in the end, and ended up with 5 ready-to-exhibit 1950s movie posters and 5 1980s horror movie posters.

 

With this series, I seek to answer the following questions and provoke thoughts in people:

 

Can we change the medium of movie posters with artificial intelligence tools? Can we condense the entire story into a poster using motion movie posters generated by artificial intelligence?

 

Can we transform movie posters from a marketing tool into the work itself? To what extent can artificial intelligence mimic the drawing techniques of the most famous poster designers?

 

How do the human/machine-produced posters resulting from the fluid storytelling created by artificial intelligence look when combined with elements of graphic design created by human hands?

 

All the music in the series belongs to the highly talented sound design studio Node.sns, whose original works blend film music with digital art, elevating all the pieces in the work to a whole new level.
